Graphic Design From Muirmedia

Graphic Design

Creative graphic design is the mainstay of Muirmedia, our bread and butter if you like!

Once branding is complete then it’s time to put that fantastic logo to good use. Typical graphic design jobs involve designing business cards, flyers and price lists. You may want a promotional brochure to showcase what your company offers, or perhaps you need your annual report to really have the wow factor?

Whatever you need, we have the experience to design it for you. We will look closely at your needs and advise on how to create the leaflet / brochure / business card that’s right for you.

Muirmedia always strives to achieve the highest quality at the most competitive price, so if we find a way to achieve the same end result in a more cost-effective way then we will give you that option. For example, one client recently commissioned us to design and produce booklets and asked for spot varnish to give a glossy effect to the cover. On closer inspection, we advised the client that a complete gloss cover would give just as much impact – and would knock almost £300 off the total price. The result: one happy client with money left over in his budget!

We love nothing more than taking a design brief and using it to create something new and exciting. Get in touch about our graphic design services here.

  • In Good Company Events

Claire Harkness is a good friend from years back, when she heard I had started my own design business she got in touch to get her 2 businesses branded up… In Good Company Events is an independent agency based in Glasgow delivering events across Scotland and London.

Claire had some strong ideas about the brand identity and wanted to go bold. We ended up with a bold, clean geometric logo offset by the script font. Literally everything that could be printed was printed thereafter from business cards to posters to magazine adverts. In Good Company Weddings follows the ethos of it’s sister company providing a meticulous standard of Wedding Planning.

  • David Cairney

David Cairney came to me through various referrals for branding for his upcoming venture - David Cairney Barbering - A new barbers opening win the Barshaw Area of Paisley. I have to admit - it was great to finally do a gents barber after tones of Ladies Hair & beauty branding jobs… David was very open to ideas - his only brief was it was to be traditional with a modern twist…. no bother!

David settled on the gold and black logo which complimented the bottle green vintage interior of the shop. I wish him all the best!

  • Ian Moir & Company

Ian Moir was referred to me by Colin at Xtensive.co.uk. Ian was looking to rebrand his law firm - Ian Moir & Company, A boutique legal firm that offers high quality, discreet legal advice to the discerning client. Ian was looking for something modern and bold that would make his company stand out from the conservative logos that most other law firms employ.

We settled on the initial IM&C on a shaded hexagon using shades of blue with white. The overall branding implies that this is a young vibrant company who aren’t scared to be a wee bit different.

  • MXE Academy

Back in early 2015, Maxine McGrath was a referral through Facebook… in fact, I think around 7 folk had actually recommended me to her!! Maxine is a young lady with a very determined outlook on life. She is the owner of the MXE Makeup Academy in Paisley. I had initially helped her with the branding of MXE but Maxine never stands still… She has came on leaps and bounds in just over a year and has now opened the MXE Make Up Academy in Paisley’s Broomlands.

I changed the logo to accommodate the name change without taking away the look that she has built the business on. Amongst the design tasks I’ve taken on for MXE the ‘Achieve Make Up Perfection’ Book that was produced with the very talented Maxine was a great and rewarding project.
